Pragati Maidan was established in year 1972, this is considered as one of the largest exhibitions and conventions in India covering an areas of over 72,000 sq.ft.
Owned and managed by Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), the premier trade promotion agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India.
The vast exhibition centre is well Equipped with modern facilities that host some of the most popular trade shows of India like, the venue offers state of art facilities and contains 19 spacious halls including around 61,290 sq. meters of exhibition space and around 10,000 sq. meters of open display space.
Divided into smaller buildings and compounds, Pragati Maidan hosts plethora of national and international exhibitions of all kinds and houses five permanent exhibitions which include the Nehru Pavilion, Atomic Energy, Defense Pavilion and different museums like the Energy is Life and Craft Museum.

Pragati Maidan is situated at a distance of around 15 Km from New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) is located at a distance of around 10 Km from the venue.
